About the Text to Speech Tool

Some systems include high-quality natural voices and many languages; others offer a smaller set. If you don't see a voice you want, it can often be added through your operating system's accessibility or language settings.
Playback only — no audio file
The Web Speech API plays audio but does not expose a way to save it, so this tool offers playback, pause, and stop rather than a download. That's a browser limitation, not a choice — if you need a downloadable audio file, you'd need a dedicated TTS service. For listening, proofreading, and pronunciation, in-browser playback works well and keeps everything private.
